After weeks (months?) of phone calls and text messages, the day finally came that we met in person! and it happened to be Ru's birthday.

Our first date! Kelly bought Ru mini cupcakes 'Baked By Melissa' to celebrate his birthday. A tradition she kept on gifting him every year.

Our first trip together! We drove up to Montreal, Canada and stayed in old Montreal ~ which quickly became our favorite destination.

Most of 2022 consisted of Ru and Poppy together - while Kelly spent time in England with her Dad who was battling cancer. Ru cared for poppy a lot, which helped Kelly be able to focus on family

Our first vacation to europe! We went to Lake Como, Italy and discovered Ru travels on a strict itinerary involving a lot of walking, while Kelly likes to always test changing the itinerary and being sporadic!
